Blue Ridge Mountains

I was just in the Blue Ridge Mountains for a wedding and let me tell ya, they are beautiful in the fall. In this lesson, we will learn about this national treasure then paint the Blue Ridge Parkway winding its way through the mountain landscape 🍁🌲

1. Print it out

Choose a paper size that is slightly smaller than your watercolor paper.

2. Shade the back

Flip your traceable over and use a pencil to shade the back. When you hold your paper up to the light, you will be able to see the traceable on the other side.

3. Transfer to watercolor paper

Place your traceable on your watercolor paper with the scribbled side down. Firmly trace over the lines. When you remove the traceable, you will see a faint sketch has transferred over to your watercolor paper. This gives your learner a guide to draw over during class!
