Giant Giraffes

Today, we are painting the great, the TALL, the GIANT giraffe! This adventurous lesson is a great chance to paint the African savannah and practice making spots 🦒

2. Shade the back

Flip your traceable over and use a pencil to shade the back. When you hold your paper up to the light, you will be able to see the traceable on the other side.

Double check the back is fully shaded

3. Transfer to watercolor paper

Place your traceable on your watercolor paper with the scribbled side down. Firmly trace over the lines. When you remove the traceable, you will see a faint sketch has transferred over to your watercolor paper. This gives your learner a guide to draw over during class!
