What is each lesson like?

Try these quick previews:

  • Lessons start with a creative warm up. Students practice a technique while I play a song on piano. We use music throughout class to get into a creative headspace.

  • Every week we cover a new topic. We'll visit Smithsonian Museums, meet famous artists from history, head to national parks, and more!

  • Each class includes painting practice, drawing practice, and a whole lot of fun. You'll be surprised at how much better you get with a few weeks of practice.

Supplies

We use the same simple supplies every week to keep your life easy:

📋 Watercolor paper (2 per class)

🎨 Watercolor paint & brush
🌊 Cup of water, small towel
✏️ Pencil, eraser, sharpie, crayons
✂️ Scissors & tape (painters/masking)
🧂 Table salt & glue (sometimes)
✨ Two tablespoons of creativity
